Research notes

Apple announced pre-orders on 2026-10-15 and retail availability began 2026-10-23. The 7.6-inch inner display is used for comparison; the 5.4-inch outer display is not mixed into that field. The 2x optical-quality crop from the main camera is not recorded as a dedicated telephoto lens. RAM, battery capacity and verified wired device intake are not stated and remain absent. Apple lists a 60W-capable adapter for a timed charge claim; that adapter rating is not treated as device intake. Availability checked 2026-10-25: Apple lists the unlocked 256 GB configuration for purchase at USD 1,999.
